You can still enjoy Chocolate this Easter.

With Easter almost here, you don’t have to miss out on any of the fun, this recipe is sugar-free and dairy free! With only three ingredients and no hidden nasties. This healthy chocolate recipe will be enjoyed by young and old.

 

INGREDIENTS

1/2 cup cocoa powder

1/4 cup coconut oil, at room temperature (not melted)

1/4 cup rice malt syrup

Pinch sea salt

METHOD

Place cocoa powder in a medium bowl.

Add coconut oil and rice malt syrup. Mix ingredients thoroughly with a sturdy spatula, pressing the oil and syrup into the powder. Continue to mix well until smooth.

Line a  small baking dish with parchment paper. (The larger the dish, the thinner the chocolate.)

Pour chocolate mixture onto parchment paper and smooth out evenly. Sprinkle with sea salt.

Place in the freezer for at least 1 hour.

Once hardened, cut chocolate into small squares.

Store in the freezer until ready to serve.
